 HERITAGE NO : 8 Faye played stand-off for England at the 2019 World Cup. She was a great organiser who would steer the team skilfully around the pitch. Furthermore, she was an exceptional goalkicker and at the conclusion of 2021 season she had booted over 128 goals as well as scoring a fabulous 28 tries. Faye was a member of the team which lifted the Challenge Cup in a resounding victory over York City Knights in June 2021. unfortunately that match was marred by a serious injury to Faye which ultimately ruled her out for the rest of the season. Up to that point she had been a regular player for the Club throughout their unbeaten run of matches. treble winning campaign of 2021. Faye returned to the p[laying field for her final campaign in the 2024 season. She was instrumental in helping the Saints win the Challenge Cup at Wembley and end the season as league leaders. The agonising Grand Final loss to York Valkyrie did little to mar her outstanding career. Faye swept the board at the end of season awards and retired on the highest of notes. Dave Dooley | |||||
