The first try followed 34 minutes in. Gaskin threw a great show and go to break through the Leeds line, she then palmed off Liv Whitehead to score next to the sticks. She added another two points with the conversion, 8-0 Saints led. There was still time for more points before the break. Another high shot saw Saints opt for two again, Gaskin added two more points to our tally, as Saints led 10-0 at the break. Leeds replied 55 minutes in. Keara Bennett spotted a gap from dummy half and made the most of it to narrow the deficit. Her conversion attempt bounced off both posts before going over, 10-6. With eight minutes to go, Saints were awarded a penalty in front of the posts. Gaskin slotted over another two points to give Saints a six-point lead. The Rhinos tried to break a stubborn Saints defence late on but Saints held firm, as they beat the Rhinos at the Totally Wicked Stadium for the first time since 2018 with a hard fought 12-6 victory.
