 HERITAGE NO : 43 Shona Hoyle joined the Saints from Huddersfield Giants in 2022, and while she was unfortunately cup-tied for the 2022 Women’s Challenge Cup campaign, was running out in the red vee in the Women’s Super League season started against Wigan Warriors in May 2022 when she scored a superb stepping try on her debut.A League Leaders’ Shield winner in 2019 with Castleford Tigers, she teamed up with 2021 Shield winners, Huddersfield Giants ahead of the new season. Hoyle began her career at 16 with Siddal and following the birth of her son, she returned to Rugby League with Featherstone Rovers. After a short stint, a move was made across to Bradford Bulls where she won the treble; the League, Grand Final and Challenge Cup in 2017.Selection for England came in the same year – she has 13 caps to date, with her first try against Papua New Guinea at the 2017 World Cup. | ||||
