MATCH REPORT : ST. HELENS V EDGE HILL 27 OCTOBER 1883

The teams met for the first time at Littler’s Field, St.Helens. After a pleasant game the victory rested wit the Saints. Three tries for the home side were scored by Thomas Roberts, Charles Anders and James Basnett. Edge Hill failed to register a point.
