Obituary : Arthur PimblettANOTHER link with the high-flying Saints squad of the 1950s has been broken by the death of a locally-born player who was a stalwart at both first and reserve team level.Former full-back Arthur Pimblett (72) died in Whiston Hospital on Saturday after collapsing at his Laffak home. A widower, he leaves his daughter Jan, grandchildren Kimberley, Ryan and Callum, and sister Sandra. Requiem Mass will be held at St Mary's Church, Blackbrook, on Wednesday, April 11, at 11am followed by cremation. A reception in memory of "Pimmer" will then be held at Blackbrook rugby club.
