Biography of Anthony Laffranchi



HERITAGE NO : 1194
Anthony was a hard running forward who was difficult to stop near the line. He was also a sound defender. Anthony had enjoyed a successful representative career down under before joining the Saints from Gold Coast Titans in 2012.

At the Saints he was noted for his try-scoring prowess in the danger zone, often taking a neat reverse pass from James Roby to plunge over the line. Anthony represented Italy in the 2013 World Cup and was clearly a battle hardened former NRL player. He was a popular figure with the fans on the terraces.
