HERITAGE NO : Erasmus Charles Bulman COMPOSITOR WINGER Erasmus was a born on the 17th of November, 1866 in Liverpool. In 1881 he was living at 46 Dean Street, Everton. The compositor married Mary Dilworth on the 25th of April, 1886 in Liverpool and they went on to have six children. Erasmus made his one and only appearance for the Saints in the away fixture against Walkden on the 4th of February 1888. He played on the wing that day as the the game concluded in an honourable draw. In 1911 the family were living at 25 Salop Street, Kirkdale whereas the 1939 Census indicates that he had become a widower and relocated to nearby Claremont Avenue in Maghull, Lancashire. He died in Maghull on the 29th of January 1943 and left a tidy sum of £1454 to his sons. |
