HERITAGE NO : William Edward Barlow SHIPWRIGHT William was born in Caernarfon Town, North Wales in 1858. He was a frequent socialiser in the well to do circles of St Helens high society in the 1870s. He played in the Originals teams led by Austin Cooper Carr. William was a shipwright by trade and based himself naturally in Liverpool. When he died on the 4th of January 1916, aged 57, he was living at 15 Coalbrooke Road in the St. Michaels area of the city. He left £155 to his wife Ann (nee Jones) and their two daughters. |
