 Cossy graduated into the first team squad by the 2018 season. The chirpy lad played at the Orrell St James ARLFC from an early age before starting a scholarship with the Saints in 2014. Matty was equally at home at centre or in the full back role. This quick, elusive player was a strong defender and played his first senior matches for the Sheffield Eagles club. Following the very successful Saints Academy Tour of 2016, Matty was selected to play for the England Under 18 team. in April 2019 Matty scored a very impressive hat trick against the Catalans Dragons. |
