 HERITAGE NO : 78 Billy was a good, local winger who showed great promise when he broke into the first team. The 1901 Census had him residing in Speakman Road and his occupation was given as a blacksmith. The 1939 Census shows Billy living in Reginald Road, St Helens and sadly by that time he was incapacitated. He died in St Helens in January 1951 aged 73. | ||||
