 HERITAGE NO : 154 William Tomkinson was a scrum half who played two matches for the Saints in October and November 1906. The Welsh schoolteacher failed to collect winning pay as on both occasions the Saints went down to a loss. He lived in Wynne Road in St Helens in 1911 and remained in the town for the rest of his life. In 1939 he was resident in Keswick Road and died in March 1965 aged 81. Dave Dooley |
