 HERITAGE NO : 483 Herbert Robinson played 22 matches for the first team between August 1938 and April 1942. He was a versatile character who played mostly in the centre but also played at full back, on the wing or stand off. In a match against Swinton he kicked two goals and scored a try. In other games he scored tries against Leigh, Keighley and Swinton. Herbert was a Mechanic and Chauffeur and in 1939 was living in Forrest Road, St Helens.
