 HERITAGE NO : 845 This Rhodesian back had plenty of pace and came to the Saints in 1967. He played 11 matches for the Saints, starting at stand off, moving to the centre and ending up on the wing. He was a useful goalkicker and netted two goals against Batley. Garth also finished well and scored singleton tries against Warrington, Blackpool Borough and Widnes. Garth played centre for the national Rhodesian Rugby Union team. Garth played centre for Rhodesia against Italy on the 16th. June 1973, a match which saw the Italians pummelled by 43 points to four.
