 HERITAGE NO : 718 Gordon made his name at Wigan and Saints paid the Riversiders £1500 pounds to bring him across Billinge Lump. A former Great Britain and England international, he had an excellent strike rate in the region of 0.55 tries per game. He was an elusive player and scored 12 tries for the Saints in 22 appearances between January and October 1954. He died in Wigan in December 1981, aged 56. Dave Dooley | ||||
