BIOGRAPHY

Alfred Peacock was a winger who made his debut against Wigan in the first round of the Border Towns Cup in November 1900. The Saints won that away fixture against their arch rivals by seven points to nil. He made three further appearances for the Saints in the same month. Alfred lived in several towns throughout his life but never straying too far from the River Mersey. In 1911, he lived in Higher Hillgate, Stockport. His death is recorded in Salford in 1932 aged 58.
