 HERITAGE NO : 1027 This player was signed from Widnes Tigers ARLFC in September 1989. He made his debut against Castleford on the 21st October 1990 whwn he came on as substitute. Saints lost that home match by 29 points to 16. Darren made his only start in hr first team when he was full back in the 26 all drawn away league match against Hull KR in January 1991. Darren next appeared as substitute in consecutive winning matches against Swinton and Oldham. He distinguished himself on both occasions by scoring tries for the Saints. He made his final appearance for the Saints when he was substitute in the away loss to Hull KR in December 1991. Darren was later loaned to Rochdale Hornets before returning to his hometown club, Widnes. Thanks to the man himself for providing the SHS with a great action image. |
