 HERITAGE NO : 621 One of the all time great scrum halves guested for the Saints at the end of December 1944. Tommy MCue, the Widnes legend, played in the 10 points to nil Challenge Cup Final victory over Keighley in 1937. Tommy played over 300 matches for the Chemics and scored over 100 tries. He gained 11 England caps and played 6 tests for Great Britain. After the War Tommy emigrated to Canada and he died in Cornwall, Ontario in April 1994, aged 80. |
