 HERITAGE NO : 1020 David Lever played for the club at the end of the 1980s. He made a debut start in the second row against Hull KR in the December 1989, a game in which the Saints Triumphed by 40 points to 26 in the Regal Trophy tie. The local signing from Blackbrook ARLC played in the Saints Academy team which beat Hull FC in the Grand Final. He scored a try for the Saints against Trafford Borough in September 1991 as the Saints racked up an incredible 104 points. Dave went to Rochdale Hornets on loan in October 1990. He eventually moved onto Leigh in 1994. A big thanks to the man himself for helping us update his biography - a lesson to us all. |
