 HERITAGE NO : 630 Tommy was a hard running second row forward who played 19 matches for the club in the years after the second world war. He kicked one goal for the Saints in the away loss to Hull KR on the fifth of January, 1950. Denise Kennedy, the daughter of Tommy Heaton heritage number 630, kindly submitted the following details. Tommy died on the 24th May 2005 aged 82. He was born in Crossley Road Ravenhead and played at Thatto Heath national school where he began a lifelong friendship with Bob Dagnall. He was also a member of the local schoolboy squad which toured France in 1935. He played at Rochdale Hornets after his time with the Saints. Dave Dooley | ||||
