 HERITAGE NO : 776 Andy was signed from loacal amateur outfit, Blackbrook ARLFC. He was a local prop forward who first featured for the club in the three friendly matches played against Welsh X111 sides as part of a May tour in 1959. The following year he made his proper debut in the away victory over Widnes in the first round of the Lancashire Cup. His final outing was in the home defeat to Wakefield Trinity in September 1960, after which he was transferred to Salford. Andy died in February 2007 at the age of 69. | ||||
