 HERITAGE NO : 617 John Glover played his only game for the first team in the league away defeat to Keighley by 15 points to 8. He played on the right wing in this match. A member of the successful junior team set up to ensure the survival of rugby league at Knowsley Road during the latter years of World War Two, John later transferred to Warrington.
