HERITAGE NO : James was an A team player who sadly died in the Frist World War. The local lad was a Labourer in a Brickworks and lived in Anne Street, St Helens with his parents according to the 1911 Census. He was with the South Lancashire Regiment and died on the 9th of March, 1915 aged 28. He is buried in the Calvary Cemetry, Essex. |
