 HERITAGE NO : 1059 Dean Busby played 18 matches for the Saints around the start of the Super League era. He was a sound forward with good support play, who joined the club from Hull FC. A mobile and hard-working back rower, he scored three tries for the Saints in these matches before moving to Warrington. His former team-mate Steve Prescott recalled that Dean had horrendous luck with injuries during his time at Knowsley Road. Dean gained dual international recognition during his career, with both England and Wales. He still lives in the St Helens area today.Dave Dooley and SHS | ||||
