 HERITAGE NO : 1005 This lively scrum half was signed from Salford in September 1988. He immediately made an impact with a sensational tryscoring debut against Wakefield Trinity. The Saints prevailed that day by 30 points to 14. Darren scored six more tries for the club and dropped a goal against Hull in October 1988. His final match for the Saints was the 1989 Challenge Cup Final. He entered the fray when Wigan had built an unassailable lead, so it was a frustrating time for everyone at Knowsley Road.
