 HERITAGE NO : 1158 Craig was a smart local centre who played in the away fixture against Catalans Dragons on the 19th of August 2006. Craig scored a smashing try that day as the young team went agonisingly close to registering a win against their French opponents. He also played in five friendly fixtures for the Saints’ First team. Thanks to Craig who kindly added the following information to his biography. He was Captain of the Blackbrook ARLFC Under 16 team which contained fellow Saints James Graham and James Roby. The team won all available honours in their age group. Craig signed for the Saints directly from the Blackbrook club. Craig was offered a one year contract to extend his stay with the Saints in 2006 but chose instead to sign for Oldham. He revelled in his time with the Roughyeds as they fought their way to 4 successive Grand Finals, unfortunately ending up on the wrong side of the shoreline each time. Craig noted the irony of the Saints suffering successive Grand Final defeats over the same period.After his spell at Oldham Craig took a break from the game before returning to play for the Blackbrook Club up to 2018 when he finally hung up his boots.
