Ray Farnall by SHS

Ray Farnall was a utility back who was signed by the Saints from the famous amateur outfit Vine tavern. He made his sole First Team appearance for the First team in the full-back role on December 29th 1951. Ray played most of his rugby in a very successful A Team at Knowsley Road and later joined Liverpool City. Is he related to Thomas Farnall, who played for the club in the 1920s?
